Role Model Profiler

Test Description

It is well known how important a role model can be for us. As a rule, we choose a role model intuitively, by trying to be similar to or under the influence of persons, heroes we admire. We intentionally or unconsciously try to follow our role model's behavior, although often our relevant traits do not reasonably match those of our role model. For this reason it is more advantageous to choose as a role model personalities whose traits are similar to ours.

One of the main factors shaping a person's lifestyle is his attitude to risk and stability. A person's attitude to risk and stability can be represented by his "risk profile". What is a "risk profile"? According to our approach a person's behavior can be categorized by seven risk types.
They are:

  • Moralist
  • Toiler
  • Rational
  • Energetic
  • Ponderous
  • Adventurer
  • Inspired
The risk profile of every person includes all of these risk types expressed in different percentages.

Our database consists of 250 famous men and women in different spheres of activity. We carefully investigated the facts of their biographies, answered for them the questions of our risk attitudes questionnaire and thus obtained their risk profiles. The celebrities can be grouped according to their spheres of activity. We distinguish thirteen such groups:

  • Social Leadership

  • Hi-tech Business

If an individual accepts certain celebrities from the list as his role models, he will be able to learn from them with success. Hence his chances to succeed in the corresponding field of activity will increase substantially.

In addition to the list of role models, a list of the most suitable areas of activity is presented as well. This list is generated on the basis of occupations of the role models. Thus, occupational recommendations are presented not only as a list of favorable spheres of activity, but also as a list of heroes, icons who succeed in those fields.

How is the risk profile of a test taker juxtaposed with the risk profiles of the famous people from our database? The strengths of expression of all seven risk types which comprise the profiles are compared. The celebrities whose risk profile correlates highly with the risk profile of the test taker are listed at the top of the list. The percentage of similarity of the risk profiles is presented as well.
